Friday, February 7, 2020– 3 Ideas are due (but you can bring them earlier)
Friday, February 28, 2020 – The Big Question & Hypothesis (2nd Grade will do theirs in class)
Friday, March 6, 2020 – Material List & Procedures due
2nd grade will be done in class. Homework will be to bring in a materials list.
Friday, March 20, 2020– Pictures, Results and Conclusion are due. 2nd graders can dictate results and conclusion for parents to type.
Tuesday, March 31, 2020 – All props due

Biography Book Reports
2nd Biography Book Report
This is your first book report. Pick someone that you find interesting but that you do not know much about. The library has a Biography section with books at lots of different levels. There are books on artists, athletes, presidents, actors, musicians,... Start looking early so that you have your person and book chosen by the beginning of February.

Biography Book Reports
2nd Biography Book Report
This is your first book report. Pick someone that you find interesting but that you do not know much about. The library has a Biography section with books at lots of different levels. There are books on artists, athletes, presidents, actors, musicians,... Start looking early so that you have your person and book chosen by the beginning of February.
Due dates:
- Select your biography and choose which project you will do. Tell Ms. Karin by February 7th.
- Complete book and the questionnaire about your person by March 5th.
- Practice facts, nightly. Make project or costume.
- March 20: present your book report and project
- 2nd grade – Fill out the questionnaire, practice presenting, and choose one of the projects to help present your information.
- Come to school dressed as the person your book is about.
- Create a puppet to represent the person your book was about and use it during your presentation.
- Create a poster showing your person at different stages of his/her life.
- Create a diorama showing your person doing what made him/her famous.
- You will tell about your person's life and how this person was important.
- Be sure to use information from the questionnaire that you filled out.
- Use your puppet creatively or act like your character
- Be prepared to answer questions about your person from the audience.
- Bring something in that represents your person – the puppet can hold it or you can hold it.

- 2nd paragraph- Early Life
- 3rd paragraph- Accomplishments and important facts
- 4th paragraph- Conclusion: How you were inspired by this person
