It's such an exciting time of year in so many ways. Outside the world is changing daily - new plants getting ready to bloom, leaves coming out, cherry trees starting to bloom, and, at least in my backyard, giant bunnies are eagerly munching on all the new growth! In the classroom, the changes are just as dramatic. 1st graders who started the year uncertain but eager to learn, are now confident students who are developing skills that will allow them to explore areas that spark their interests. The 2nd grade students are now amazing students who are enthusiastic learners who are curious and excited about the world around them. All of them are growing in so many ways and it is so exciting to watch. During our last weeks of school, we will continue our classroom work, but instead of having a theme and exploring a country, we will continue our exploration of Cape Cod, as well as taking one more trip to Boston to go to the Aquarium! We are planning our field trips and will be posting them shortly. Happy Spring!
