What a wonderful trip! Everyone found books they liked - Vikings, fairies, yoga, Halloween - we have lots of interests. We even had time for Ms. Karin to read a book called Moose Pond Beaver Pond about all the animals living in the the pond the beaver created.

The teachers are planning trips to support our Science and Social Studies curriculum. We are looking forward to having new adventures as we continue to explore the Cape, learning about different areas and their ecosystems. We are planning a trip to Plimouth Plantation early this fall to learn about the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people.
2nd-6th grade students had the opportunity to see the Key exhibit. We had the chance to find our work that we did last year with the creator of the project Lenore Lyons. We also got to make key stamps which were beautiful. What a wonderful trip.
We have been enjoying weekly visits to local libraries. We have gone to Snow Library in Orleans, Brewster Ladies Library, and Brooks Free Library in Harwich. We got a tour from the children's librarian Anna, at Brooks, including hearing the story of the missing statues! Now in addition to searching for interesting books, the children are looking for information on their Art and Literature Fair topic - New Zealand!
2nd - 6th is going to Nauset Beach on Friday, 9/25/15 for the 3rd part of our Water Study.We will be going to Orleans Snow Library on Tuesday. We areWeek one:
